Arbitration
In view of the need to promote speedy resolution of disputes that may arise from transactions in the coffee business in Uganda, UCTF has set up an arbitration service for the benefit of its members and their clients.
The arbitration service provides protection to all it's members at every level with the aim of settling disputes that may arise with low costs affiliated to the settlement as UCTF believes that a quick resolution to a misunderstanding or problem is not only beneficial to both parties but also to the Coffee Industry.
Members in the coffee industry who decide to settle the dispute in accordance to the Arbitration rules of the Uganda Coffee Trade Federation have a two-stage procedure which allows an appeal within the federation as stated in the arbitration rules available under the Related Document section.
